Hello.

We are a group of trail enthusiasts. We like to hike, and we also feel a responsibility to be advocates for and stewards of the trails around us. We welcome you to join us in this work and recreation as members of the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club.

Founded in 2019

We were approved as a PATC chapter in December 2019 with the goal of providing expanded activities and service opportunities to PATC members in the Blue Ridge and northern Shenandoah Valley areas.

The Blue Ridge Chapter includes an area encompassing Harpers Ferry, WV and Round Hill, Purcellville, Bluemont, Berryville, White Post,  Winchester, Shawneeland, Boyce, Paris, Delaplane, and Front Royal.

President: Kristine Villatoro
Vice President: Abby Ingram
Secretary: Melissa Burke
Treasurer: Brian Snyder

Our Mission/Vision

The Blue Ridge Chapter conducts hikes, maintains trails, participates in trail-related events, and supports PATC and AT Communities with their events and programs. Membership is open to all PATC members in this region.

We share the PATC vision to provide "
a dynamic outdoor experience for a diverse community of trail users" and to create "opportunities for all people to contribute to sustaining the outdoor environment through volunteer engagement and nature appreciation."
