We hope to be. We're a group of Potomac Appalachian Trail Club members from northwest Virginia and Harper's Ferry who would like to host more events—both hikes and stewardship projects—in our region. Our proposed chapter includes several A.T. Communities, towns and counties recognized by the Appalachian Trail Conservancy for their commitment to promote and protect the Trail. A.T. Communities in the proposed PATC chapter include: Front Royal/Warren Co., Berryville/Clark Co. and Round Hill in Virginia; and Bolivar/Harper's Ferry in West Virginia. Would you like to see more PATC events in our region? We need at least 20 prospective members for our chapter in order to apply to the Club for recognition and support. Please contact us to add your name, and/or ask questions and make suggestions. |
